To see the IMEI and the MAC address, remove the back cover of the device and lightly remove the battery. You will see them in the battery&#8217;s housing, like the one pictured below:<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5382 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image3-207x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image3-207x300.jpg 207w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image3.jpg 614w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 207px) 100vw, 207px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Download and extract the files you will need in order to do this tutorial. This contains six folders, Starting from \u201cStep 1\u201d all the way through \u201cStep 6&#8243;.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Installing the WTPTP Driver.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Step 1 is a basic installation of the WTPTP Driver in your computer.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On your computer, navigate to the \u201cStep 1\u201d folder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Launch \u2018DrvInstaller\u201d if you are on a computer with 32-Bit\/x86 Windows, or \u201cDrvInstaller_x64\u201d, if you are on a 64-Bit\/x64 Windows. (If you don&#8217;t know. Press Windows + R and type in &#8220;msinfo32&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If prompted with &#8220;Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device?&#8221;. Click \u201cYes\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on \u201cInstall Update\u201d<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5398 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image16-300x240.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image16-300x240.png 300w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image16.png 395w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once done, you should see this dialog box saying that the driver installation is a success. If you see any error, click on &#8220;remove&#8221; and then click on &#8220;install update&#8221; again. If that doesn&#8217;t solve it, try to reboot your computer and re-do the whole process.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image10.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5392 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image10-300x240.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image10-300x240.png 300w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image10.png 395w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close by pressing \u201cQuit\u201d.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Flashing the FX-PR2L firmware.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Step 2 involves flashing a different firmware on the device. This is necessary for us to successfully unlock it. Don&#8217;t worry, we are going to flash the original firmware back once the unlock process is complete.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove and disconnect everything on your Evoluzn FX-PR3L device. If it\u2019s connected via USB, disconnect. Remove both SIM and battery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to the \u201cStep 2\u201d folder, and run the \u201cSWDownloader\u201d program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on \u201cFile\u201d, then \u201cOpen\u201d. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigate to the \u201cSWD\u201d folder, (if you don\u2019t see it, it\u2019s located on the \u201cStep 2\u201d folder). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then select \u201cNezha_MiFi5_LWG_Only_Nontrusted.blf\u201d file.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the green lightbulb icon.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect the FX-PR3L Pocket WiFi via micro USB cable and plug it into the computer\u2019s USB port.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As fast as you can, insert the battery, then hold the power button. Until you see \u201cwelcome to Smart\u201d, then the arrow button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should see flashing green progress bar on the bottom of SWDownloader.<br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5389 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7-277x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"277\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7-277x300.png 277w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7-768x833.png 768w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7-944x1024.png 944w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image7.png 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 277px) 100vw, 277px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once done, there should be a dialog box, saying so. On the device, it only shows a white screen. Click \u201cOK\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do the same steps above for the \u201cMobile Diag Interface\u201d. But choose \u201cMarvell DIAG USB Device Version: 2.0.0.1 [10\/11\/2012]\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close out of Device manager.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Rewriting the IMEI, MAC, and Serial to the FX-PR3L Pocket WiFi.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigate to \u201cStep 4\u201d folder. \u00a0Then run \u2018MIFITOOL1.0.0.3.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image19.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5401 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image19-300x214.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"569\" height=\"406\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image19-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image19.png 582w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 569px) 100vw, 569px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the first bottom \u201c????\u201d. This should locate where your Pocket WiFi is. For me, it\u2019s located on COM3, but yours may vary.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the first \u201c?IMEI\u201d button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type your IMEI number from that picture you took or wrote down earlier.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press the second \u201c?IMEI\u201d button, twice (just to be sure).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press the first \u201c?IMEI\u201d button again, to ensure the IMEI you entered has been written.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the first \u201c?MAC\u201d button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type in the MAC address from the picture you took or wrote down earlier.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the second \u201c?MAC\u201d button, twice (just to be sure).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the first \u201c?MAC\u201d button, to ensure the IMEI you entered has been written.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type in the serial number you wrote down or took pictures of earlier.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the second \u201c?SN\u201d button, twice (just to be sure).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t bother clicking the first \u201c?SN\u201d button, as it will freeze up the program. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close out of the MiFi Tool by clicking X on the top right, or by clicking the very last button \u201c??\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><strong>Flashing the FX-PR3L V9.0 firmware.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the micro USB cable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect to the Pocket WiFi via WiFi.<br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image21.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5403 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image21-175x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\" height=\"460\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the browser, and go to 192.168.1.1.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type in \u201csmartbro\u201d for both user and password.<br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5391 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image9-300x204.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"557\" height=\"362\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u201cSkip\u201d.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image12.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5394 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image12-300x204.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"541\" height=\"370\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on \u201cSoftware Information\u201d.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image8.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5408 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image8-300x163.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"377\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u201cBrowse\u201d.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image5.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5387 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockbase.com\/blog\/wp-content\/image5-300x163.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigate to \u201cStep 5\u201d folder, and select \u201cNZ_MF_FX-PR3_AT2.22_SB_V09.bin\u201d file.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u201cUpgrade\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will now flash the FX-PR3L V9.0 firmware, and Pocket WiFi will reboot once done.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>Entering the unlock code<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove cover, remove the battery, insert a SIM (any SIM but none from Smart, Sun, and TNT).\\<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insert SIM and battery. Put cover. Turn the Pocket WiFi on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should say \u201cPH-NET PIN\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect to Pocket WiFi via WiFi. If you want to update the firmware, download the \u201cSmart Bro Pocket WiFi\u201d app. It should automatically download the latest firmware when signed into the app. Updating the software doesn&#8217;t change the unlocked status of your device.
