Step 1 (Preparation):\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Galaxy S6: \u00a0Download the Special MetroPCS Firmware for Samsung SM-G920T<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Download ODIN v3.10.0 Service Software<\/a> using this link (NEW:<\/strong>\u00a0Odin v3.10.5<\/a> or Odin v3.10.6<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  3. Make sure your phone battery is charged more than 60%.<\/li>\n
  4. Enable USB Debugging, by open Settings > Developers Option > USB Debugging<\/strong>
    \nIf Developers Option is hidden, go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number<\/strong> (tap on it for 5-8 times)<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Make sure you install the Samsung Galaxy S6 USB drivers<\/a> on your PC, if you haven\u2019t already.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Optional:\u00a0Download the\u00a0Original T-Mobile\u00a0Firmware for Samsung SM-G920T<\/a>.

    Step 2 (Update Firmware):\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Run Odin3 v3.10.0<\/strong>\u00a0as administrator (Right-Click: Run as Administrator).<\/li>\n
    2. Switch OFF your Samsung Galaxy S6.<\/li>\n
    3. Boot in download\u00a0mode, by pressing the\u00a0Volume Down + Home + Power Key<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0simultaneously.

    4. When\u00a0you see the screen below:\n
    5. Connect the Samsung Galaxy S6 to your PC with the USB cable.
      \nOdin will automatically detect your phone and show the \u201cAdded!\u201d <\/em>message.\"Samsung<\/li>\n
    6. In the Odin, click on AP <\/strong>or PDA\u00a0<\/strong>and then choose :- For Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) : G920T1UVU1AOCH_G920T1TMB1AOCH_TMB_HOME.tar.md5<\/em>\u00a0file.<\/li>\n
    7. Ensure Auto Reboot<\/strong> and F. Reset Time<\/strong> options are selected\u00a0selected in Odin
      \nwhile the Re-Partition<\/strong> option is unchecked (this is very important).<\/li>\n
    8. Click\u00a0Start<\/strong>\u00a0in Odin and wait for the software to update your phone.\"Odin<\/li>\n
    9. Once the root installation is done, your phone will reboot
      \nand soon a PASS message with a green background appears in the left-most box at the very top of Odin.\"Odin3<\/li>\n
    10. You can close Odin after device turns on.<\/li>\n
    11. Your\u00a0Samsung Galaxy S6 is now fully updated with MetroPCS Firmware!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
