To order an\u00a0Unlock Code for BlackBerry<\/a>\u00a0models OS10 (Z10, Z30, Q10, Q5) as well as BlackBerry\u00a09315, 9320, 9720 we just need the IMEI (Serial Number) of your BlackBerry. But for any other models (the oldest BlackBerry), we need either “IMEI + MEP<\/em>” or “IMEI + PRD<\/em>“. How to read the MEP of any BlackBerry phone using the “Cable + Software” Method<\/h2>\n

First download the BlackBerry MEP Reader<\/strong>\u00a0on UnlockBase using this link<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Close the Blackberry desktop manager if its open
\nStep 2:<\/strong> If not already done, please install the\u00a0BlackBerry Driver<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> On your BlackBerry Cell Phone:<\/p>\n

Go to “Options > Media Card\/Memory Card<\/em>”<\/p>\n

1) Media Card Support: off
\n2) Mass Storage Mode Support: off
\n3) Auto Enable Mass Storage: no
\n4) Save the settings and exit<\/p>\n

Also make sure if there is a password on the phone that its turned off

Go to “Options > Security Options > General Settings<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> When thats all done save the settings and follow this guideline:<\/p>\n

1. Open Program
\n2. Click read phone
\n3. Connect the phone to\u00a0PC
\n4. The software will show the MEP code<\/p>\n
